Banking — Wells Fargo Personal Checking (Austin)

Account snapshot

  • Holder: Austin Renfroe (personal, NOT an LLC)
  • Institution: Wells Fargo
  • Account: CHECKING ...6248
  • Role: Austin's personal checking. Historically received some Casa Moksha guest payments pre-dating the proper Brex + Santander channel setup.

Known activity relevant to this repo

Inflow to Brex Primary (one confirmed txn)

  • Nov 8, 2024: $45,000 transferred from WF 6248 to Brex Primary (memo: "Gavon Renfroe Personal Checking Account"). This was Austin moving personal funds into the Brex ecosystem.

Historical Casa Moksha guest receipts

Austin confirmed (2026-04-18): "I may have received it into my Wells Fargo personal account 6248 previously as well." For the 2024 Xero backfill, these historical inflows need to be reconstructed — they are technically Renfroe Hospitality Group revenue received by Austin personally on behalf of the entity.

Why this matters

If Casa Moksha revenue landed in Austin's personal account, the accounting needs to treat it as: 1. Revenue to RHG (recognized on RHG's books with a receivable from Austin) 2. Austin holds cash on RHG's behalf — transfers to Renfroe Family Holdings or directly to Santander MXN reduce the receivable

This is the same collection-agent logic as RFH acting for RHG through Brex, just with Austin personally as the intermediate holder instead of RFH.

Open items — to-do

  • Pull Wells Fargo 6248 statements for the period covering any Casa Moksha guest deposits. Historical 2024-2025 priority. See todo/for-austin.md.
  • Once statements land, extract guest payment inflows and reconstruct the RHG revenue that was received there.
  • Ensure going forward that guest revenue does NOT land in this personal account. Channel guests to the proper Brex Casa Moksha Dep account or Santander MXN.
