Raw parsed data from financial documents (bank statements, transaction exports). These are reference data, not editable files. When synthesis elsewhere in the repo conflicts with what's here, this folder wins as the underlying data — but the synthesis may have corrected for context (e.g., "owner contribution" labels on wires that are actually intercompany cash movements).

Convention

  • Subfolder per institution or per deal
  • Filenames describe scope: renfroe-hospitality-santander-transactions.md not statements.md
  • Don't edit after upload. If the data is wrong, note it in the relevant synthesis file (e.g., banking/santander-mxn.md) and explain the correction.
